Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is a perennial herb native to the Mediterranean region, known for its aromatic seeds and culinary uses. Traditionally, it has been used in both food and herbal medicine to support digestion and promote overall wellness. The seeds and oil from fennel contain beneficial compounds like anethol.

WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Fennel is traditionally used to support digestive health by helping relieve occasional bloating, gas, and discomfort. It may also promote healthy lactation in nursing mothers and can help soothe mild digestive upset in infants when consumed by the mother. Additionally, fennel is known to support respiratory health and may help with occasional coughs.
