Plant-Source Vitamin C is vitamin C from fruit rather than a laboratory. Each two-capsule serving provides 135 mg of vitamin C (150% DV) as vitamin C fractions extracted from amla, backed by 310 mg of organic amla fruit extract, a 412 mg Vita C Pro Blend of organic rice concentrate, hesperidin from natural orange fruit extract, and quercetin, plus a 116 mg Vita C Support Blend of organic stabilized rice bran, organic cilantro leaf, and rose hips.
Nearly all vitamin C on the market is synthetic ascorbic acid produced from corn glucose. Amla - Indian gooseberry - is among the most concentrated natural sources in the plant kingdom and has been used in Ayurvedic practice for millennia. The supporting bioflavonoids matter too: hesperidin and quercetin occur alongside vitamin C in whole fruit, and rose hips have been the traditional Western source since long before supplements existed.
Food-source vitamin C with its native bioflavonoids is a genuine point of difference in a category almost entirely synthetic. Take two capsules daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
