As determined by the Porter Method, which is the most accurate methodology available to specifically quantify proanthocyanidin content, Pycnogenol yields: 65% Proanthocyanidins 17% Organic acids, organic acid glucosides and glucose esters 15% Catechin and epicatechin (monomers) 3% Water. Although not technically correct, classifying all phenolic components as proanthocyanosides would yield 97% proanthocyanosides
