Desmodium adscendens, a rainforest plant native to South America and West Africa, is the single ingredient in all Royal Desmodium products.To highlight its various uses, it is available under four different labels and in a loose tea form.

This botanical is traditionally prepared in Peru as a tea. Royal Desmodium tea is in a loose tea form.

Dosing Considerations

Royal Desmodium is so safe it can be taken on an “as needed” basis.

Directions

Take on an empty stomach. 1 serving is 1 cup of tea.
For Immediate and Urgent Use: Take 2 cups of tea away from food every 2 to 12 hours, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Maintenance Dosage: Take 1 to 2 servings with water up to 3 times a day, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Children’s Dose: 1/3 to 1/2 cup of tea. (Not for use by children under 2 years of age.)
